If you find yourself stuck in a place high up because zombies or some other form of danger is beneath you, you could lower yourself down with this paracord once the danger had passed or was eliminated. That is unless of course you weigh more than 550lbs. In which case you're probably awesome enough without the paracord considering you climbed to a high place in the first place.

Bought 300' so far.....indispensable. Keep some in wife's car, truck, work truck, make lanyards outta it....tie down ANYTHING....use as boot laces(laces that will never break)...hang antennas from trees...or to tease the cats with......love this stuff....and it's the real deal...not some Chinese ripoff stuff.

Bought this for hanging bear bags, tying down tents in strong winds, and other general purpose tasks in the woods. A 50ft length easily fits into a small backpack side pocket and weighs practically nothing, so it is easy to have a couple of lengths along at all times, even on day trips. The ends come melted together so that they won't fray. At this price, it's worthwhile to pick up a few. I have not seen a comparable-type item in my local outdoor or hardware stores at the prices found on-line.

This paracord is extremely durable. With the 550 lb test, it is good for replacing shoe laces, securing snares, tent guy lines, hanging bear bags, fishing, hanging tarps, and just about anything else you could think of. The cut ends are melted from the factory to prevent fraying and I highly suggest you melt the ends of any cuts you make, but this tends to be common practice any time you're dealing with synthetic rope. As other reviews have stated, you can never have enough paracord. I don't leave home with out it. My paracord was shipped by Army Universe and arrived three days prior to the estimated arrival date. All in all I am very satisfied with this purchase and would definately recommend this product to my friends and family.
