Led Headlamp Head
Does anyone know how to remove the Lens of a Headlamp from a For Focus 2003? I need the lens off completley?
Im trying to put some LED Strip lighting in my Ford Focus head lamps? for that i need to remove the lens, but Ford decided it would be a good idea to use such strong adhesive that I cant get them apart. Anyone have any ideas without me ruining my headlamps? Cheers
i did the same thing to my integra. take the entire headlamp out of the vehicle and take off any rubber or electrical parts. put your oven on liek 250 or 350 and put your headlamp in. don't keep it in the oven for any long period of time and keep checking to make sure you are not melting the plastic then use gloves (cause it'll be hot) and flat head screw drivers or even better paint scrapers to pry the lens away from the housing install the part you want to install and use weather strip adhesive to put the headlight back together. i also used electrical tape around the joint just to assist in keeping water out of the head light. good luck and don't pry too hard or you'll break the lens.
